There’s no denying it 99% of the population love summer! That is definitely a real stat that we didn’t make up 😉 And nothing screams summer like BBQ’s with your mates, swimming in $30 Kmart kiddie pool and a drool-worthy summer cocktail. However I have a little secret, as much as I love a Mojito or Cosmo (or anything fruity and alcoholic), there’s a certain little joy when you find a new summer cocktail that’s easy to mix up and makes you look like a bartender god. That’s how I felt when I discovered the ‘Fresh Sicilian’ cocktail!
This fruity little number has certain elements of a mojito but with a citrus twist using Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur. Turns out Solerno is the only blood orange liqueur (in the world) that uses the fruit from hand-picked Sicilian blood orange trees #justalittlefancy Plus it tastes pretty darn fresh in a cocktail.
So #TreatYoTastebuds and enjoy an Sicilian summer all year round! You can thank us later, when you are 3 cocktails deep.

You can pick up a bottle of Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur to whip up your own summer cocktail from Dan Murphy’s, Vintage Cellars and First Choice Liquor. It will set you back around $59 but that investment will bring you numerous cocktails (that don’t need additional alcoholic ingredients) and moments of pure joy 🍊
